In 2018 the Nangodi Institute sent two of our researchers for a short course in Quantitative Research and R in Kumasi. These researchers returned to teach their peers the basics of the program. Some of the research skills required to make the Nangodi Institute a more self-sustaining and valuable collaborator can be learned in the field collecting data for others' projects, but other skills require classroom training. While there are certainly individuals in country with these types of skills, in the rural areas where we operate, they are scarce. If you would like to contribute to the education of our researchers, please reach out via our contact page. Future trainings will build on our short course R training, introduce qualitative analysis skills, and improve grant writing capacity. |
